A WOMAN was taken to hopsital this lunchtime after a car and van crashed.
The collision occurred on Providence Lane in Oakworth at around 1pm this afternoon (Monday).
A silver Peugeot was the car involved with the van.
The woman went to the hospital for treatment for her minor injuries.
Traffic was slow for around two hours before everything was cleared at 3pm.
A spokesperson from the force said: "This incident was reported at 1.25pm today (Monday).
"Collision in Providence Lane involving a silver Peugeot and a van.
"Woman taken to hospital for treatment, believed to be minor injuries."
Heading south, Providence Lane leads to Spring Head Road and Victoria Avenue, while in the opposite direction the centre of Oakworth village can be found.
