LOTS of bikes were handed to the public for free by a Wibsey-based charity in a Bradford park.

OnTrak, with help from West Yorkshire Police, organised the Royds Ward event in Low Moor's Harold Park on Saturday.

The giveaway, which occurred near the bowling green at 10am, were for families living in the BD6 and BD12 areas of Bradford.

Police officers security marked the bikes and provided crime prevention advice. Adults needed to be present with a valid email address and postal address.

A spokesperson from the force said: "A fantastic event today (Saturday) in Harold Park.

"A huge thanks to Adrian and the team from OnTrak for providing the bikes and scooters etc.
