A Bradford primary school is shut for today and tomorrow.

Bankfoot Primary, on Bolingbroke Street in BD5, say the closure is due to their new boiler breaking down.

It means they are unable to use any heating or hot water.

The boiler went down on Monday and replacement parts are set to arrive on Tuesday.

If the school can fix it, they will be back open as normal at 8pm on Wednesday to pupils.

This morning's statement on the Bradford Council website read: "Bankfoot Primary School - Full Closure.

"School closure due to breakdown of the new boiler.

"We have no heating or hot water.

"Replacement parts are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.

"If fixed we will open as normal on Wednesday morning."
