POLICE have confirmed why a major road on a Bradford estate is cordoned off this morning.
Broadstone Way, Holme Wood, is currently blocked off between Knowles Lane and Landscove Avenue.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said that at 5.19am today, police received a report of an injured male on the road.

"Officers attended and found a man with a serious hand injury," they said.
"He received treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital for further assessment.
"His injuries are not life threatening."
The spokesperson added: "Following enquiries a 19-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in custody at this time.
"A scene remains in place as does a road closure, while enquiries continue into the incident.
