POLICE have arrested a second man in a high-value fraud investigation.

West Yorkshire Police detained a male on Saturday afternoon in relation to allegations of a high-value fraud by false representation.

This was in local communities in the Batley and Dewsbury areas.

The force announced it had already arrested one male and bailed him pending further enquiries in connection with the investigation.

Now they have arrested a further individual.

Police have described the case as a "complex investigation" with extensive enquiries ongoing.

They have also urged people to exercise caution around investment schemes.
