MYSTERY surrounds the back story to why a classic Ford car seems to have been parked in the same spot in Bradford for a number of years.
A white 1991 Ford Escort has been spotted in the same space on Squire Lane in Bradford.
A picture of the car has been posted on the Bradford, Back In Time Facebook page.
The post has triggered a number of theories to the background of the car and how long it has been parked in the same space in the city.
Here is a selection of those comments:
Lee Towers: “It moved about three years ago when the road was resurfaced. Then it came back.”
Victoria Jayne: “It looks in far better nick than it has been. Tyres are usually flat and there’s evidence of at least four seasons on it. It’s been there since 1998, minimum.”
Zarar Hussain: “It used to have a cover over it.”
Abi Chhibu: “I have never seen it move in 2/3 decades that I know of.”
Shakeelah Bee: “Omg! Whenever av visited BRI I walk past it seems like it's been there perhaps longer than a decade? I always amuse myself in thinking why has it never moved?”
