A LOCAL jewellery designer has reached the final of TV series All That Glitters: Britain’s Next Jewellery Star.

Emma White, one of Yorkshire’s leading contemporary jewellers and jewellery teachers, is down to the final three in the popular BBC Two series.

She was one of four contestants battling it out for a place in the final by taking on two challenges.

In the first, the best seller task, she made a pair of silver and blue earrings but was ranked joint third for her efforts.

In the second challenge, the bespoke, she had to make a pair of cufflinks for a Birmingham, street warden to pick from to wear to an awards ceremony. Emma missed out on being picked for this accolade.

But she did make it to next Thursday night’s final, where she will battle it out for the title alongside Jack and Piers.

In addition to taking part in the show, Emma is in the process of expanding her studio and workshop space at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley.

Emma has been based at Red Lane Mill at the historic mill complex for almost 10 years.

The final of the 2022 series of All That Glitters airs on September 29, at 9pm on BBC Two and later on iPlayer.
