POLICE officers from Bradford had the huge honour of guarding the Queen's hearse and a couple of presidents earlier in the week.
Huge crowds, royalty and a long list of world leaders and other dignitaries all needed to be kept safe as part of the mammoth job for the Queen's funeral on Monday.
The scale surpassed the operation for the Platinum Jubilee weekend and the London 2012 Olympics, which saw up to 10,000 police officers on duty per day.
It was also the largest global protection operation dealt with by the force, with world leaders, dignitaries and other VIPs attending the state funeral.

City centre police officer Richard Baildon highlighted how Bradford was involved on a special day with a series of tweets.
These mentioned United States of America President Joe Biden, President of France Emmanuel Macron and, of course, the hearse that was carrying Her Majesty's coffin.
