Andrew Benjamin scored an extra-time winner for Fields Sports & Social in the Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup final - part of a magnificent three days for the club.

The Fields youngsters kicked off the run of success by clinching the Northern Alliance Under-19s Cup with a 2-1 victory over Silsden, also after extra time.

The seniors saw off Bradford Park Avenue Reserves the next day and 24 hours later it was the turn of Fields Reserves as they won the West Yorkshire League Reserve Division Trophy 2-0 against Rothwell Athletic.

Benjamin's decisive goal came in the first period of extra time as Fields finally saw off Avenue after a tense final at Eccleshill United's Plumpton Park ground.

Craig Thompson had broken the deadlock for Avenue after an hour and they could have doubled their lead but Fields keeper Daz Crawley saved well from both Andy Lee and Tom Corringe.

Fields grabbed an equaliser with ten minutes to spare when Mark Whitley headed home from close range.

It was then left to Benjamin to settle the contest with a cross-cum-shot from 25 yards that gave Avenue keeper Ryan Bairstow no chance.

Consolation for Avenue was that defender Andy Salm picked up the man of the match trophy.

MIDWEEK RESULT - Premier Division: Ovenden West Riding 4, Tyersal 2.
