Crews from Morley, Stanningley, Moortown, Killingbeck and Hunslet fire stations were also part of the overall team.

Firefighters found a commercial building, measuring 10 metres by 30 metres, was alight when they arrived, just after the road's junction with Ingram View.

Footage seen by The Telegraph & Argus shows a ferocious fire taking hold, with large flames erupting out of the top of the building and smoke billowing into the sky.

A spokesperson for WYFRS said 70 per cent of the building is involved in the fire.

The crews are still at the scene.
