Bradford and Airedale Teaching Primary Care Trust (tPCT) is holding an open day for anyone interested in a career as a healthcare support worker.
The open day takes place on Thursday, May 8, at Hillside Bridge Medical Centre in Barkerend.
All potential applicants and invited to drop in between 11am and 6pm to find out more.
There are currently up to ten posts within the tPCT for anyone with an NVQ level two or three in health care.
The open day will allow people to chat to other health care support workers and get more information about the role. Interviews for positions will be held on the day at Hillside Bridge and on Thursday, May 15, at Royds Enterprise Park in Buttershaw.
Anita Moyser has worked as part of the tPCT's fast response team for over three years and says the best part of her job is the variety of work.
Her duties include helping care for the people who have fallen, helping people whose main carers are incapacitated and supporting treatment for acute conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Anita said: "I cannot really describe a typical day. All I can say is that I have a wonderful job and everyday is different and can change by the hour. It's sometimes very challenging."
For more information about the open day contact Sue Daughtry on 01274 323576.
