A THOUGHTFUL eight-year-old used his pocket money to buy flowers and pay tribute to the Queen at Bradford Cathedral.

Ethan Muscroft heard about the Queen’s passing and was keen to light a candle and pay his respects to the Queen.

The young boy who suffers from a blood disorder visited the cathedral this morning, with a bunch of flowers in his hand.

His mum, Amy Muscroft said: “I’m really proud of him.

“He knows that the Queen has gone to heaven and that’s it.

“It’s really thoughtful what he’s done.”

Ethan, who attends Fagley Primary School has been learning about the Queen and royal family, tied in with their lessons on British Values.

Amy added: “We talk about the Queen and royals a lot at home, and he’s been watching it on the TV.”
