Bradford Council will tomorrow aim to secure a court order to remove travellers who are illegally encamped in a city centre car park.
Should the Council's application be successful, the 15-strong contingent of caravans parked in Tyson Street will be given until Saturday lunchtime to leave the site.
The terms of an injunction come into effect as soon as it is approved in court but a Council spokesman confirmed it would give the travellers until the next day to prepare for their departure.
If the deadline is ignored the Council can take steps to take repossession of the land.
It is the second time the Council has gone through the courts to move the travellers away from its car parks in the space of a week.
The travellers were ordered off St Thomas's car park, 200 yards away off Westgate, at the beginning of the week. They settled there for about a fortnight and left stacks of rubbish, including soiled nappies, gas canisters and household waste when they left.
