Pieces of art exploring the theme of hope by Yorkshire artists with religious faith, go on display at Bradford Cathedral from May 1.
On May 3 there will also be performances of poetry by Caroline Moore and story-telling by Fred Stone. Art works will include video, pottery, paper-making and paintings.
Steve Rayner, whi is exhibiting, said: "These artists are engaging with real issues in the real world, from their own perspectives. One of the most rewarding aspects of this kind of exhibition is the feedback we get, so I would encourage people not just to look but to let the artists know about your response."
The Dean of Bradford, Dr David Ison, said: "Part of our mission is to help people explore faith and spirituality. Creative art is an excellent way of opening spiritual doors and asking questions.
"We hope as many people as possible will find time to call in over the next few weeks to encounter and be moved by this interaction between art and faith."
