A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with using two other people’s bank cards to buy goods in Bradford shops.
Shauna Feeley, 30, of Heddon Walk, Bradford, faced four charges; three of fraud by false representation – Fraud Act 2006 and handling stolen goods.
In the first charge, Feeley committed fraud by dishonestly making a false representation, using another person’s bank cards as if they were her own. This was intended to make a gain for herself, namely £41.97 worth of products.
This offence took place at Shell Petrol Station, Manchester Road, Bradford.
In the second charge, she used two other people’s bank cards to make a gain for herself, namely £22.44 worth of products, at Hare and Hound (Texaco Petrol Station, Bradford).
In the third count, she used two other people’s bank cards intending to make a gain, namely £76.41 worth of products, at Southfield Stores, all offences committed on January 15, 2022.
In the fourth charge, handling stolen goods, Feeley dishonestly undertook or assisted in the retention or removal of stolen goods, including some car keys, belonging to two other people.
Feeley was handed a community order, which includes a curfew requirement with electronic monitoring for 20 weeks.
Feeley was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 31, 2022.
