A MAN has been banned after being caught drink driving in Bradford.
Michael Shaun Holmes, 35, of Buttershaw, Bradford, faced a charge of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit.
He was caught driving a car after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 54 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.
He was caught on The Crescent, Buttershaw, Bradford, on May 21, 2022.
Her was disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for 12 months. He was also fined £407 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £40 victim surcharge for the offence.
Holmes was given no separate penalty for possession of rocks and powder of cocaine and a small bag of cannabis, offences which also took place at The Crescent, Buttershaw, Bradford, on May 21, 2022. The drugs were forfeited and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
He was given no further penalty for a charge of failing to surrender to police/bail at the appointed time, at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court, on June 21, 2022.
Holmes pleaded guilty to the offences and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 2.
