A MAN has been jailed for a string of theft offences and an assault at a Bradford shopping centre.
Andrew Parrington, 31, of Chapel Street, Bradford, was jailed for a total of 24 weeks for a number of offences.
He was committed to prison for six weeks for common assault. This offence took place at Kirkgate Centre, Godwin Street, Bradford, on August 26, 2022.
He was committed to prison for six weeks, to run consecutively, for stealing a Nike backpack, worth £24.99, from Deichmans Shoes, Kirkgate Centre, Bradford, on August 26, 2022. He was also ordered to pay a £154 victim surcharge for this offence.
Parrington was committed to prison for six weeks, to run consecutively, for stealing 25 pairs of jeans, worth a total of £624.74, from H&M, The Broadway, Bradford, on August 19, 2022.
Parrington was jailed for further theft from a shop offences, to run concurrently.
He was jailed for three further charges for two weeks each, to run consecutively, for failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time, at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court, on August 31, July 20 and July 15, 2022.
Parrington pleaded guilty to all of the charges and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on September 2, 2022.
