POLICE are after a man who is wanted for allegedly driving without insurance and obstructing an officer.

Arlan Bakir, 39, of Evelyn Avenue in Thornbury, Bradford, was due to appear at Skipton Magistrates' Court last Friday to face two charges.

The two charges were use a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third-party insurance and obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty.

It is alleged that Bakir was driving a blue Mercedes C class on the A59, near Skipton, without any insurance on July 19 this year.
