READ: Police update on Bradford head-on crash which left five people injured

FIVE people have been injured following a two-vehicle crash in Bradford tonight.

Fire crews from Odsal, Cleckheaton and Rastrick and an Air Ambulance were called to the collision on Whitehall Road, Wyke, at just after 7.30pm.

There were five casualties in the collision; four of them in one car and one in the other vehicle involved. Three others left the vehicle without the help of the emergency services.

The extent of the injuries to the people involved is not yet known. 

There has been severe front-end damage to both vehicles involved in the collision. 

A West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesman said: “Five casualties, four in one car and one in the other vehicle, plus three self-extricated.

“All casualties extricated by the fire service and left in the care of ambulance.”
