POLICE have arrested a man on suspicion of assault after a reported early-hours altercation at a hospital.
West Yorkshire Police was called to Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) at 1.40am this morning.
It was to reports that a man was speaking threateningly to a member of staff at the hospital.
Officers raced to the building and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of assault.
He is still in police custody today.
Officers are continuing to investigate.
A full statement from West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called at 1.40am this morning to the BRI in Bradford to reports a man was verbally threatening a member of staff.
"Officers arrived and arrested a 22 year old man on suspicion of assault, he remains in police custody.
"Enquires are ongoing."
