A MAN has appeared in court charged with drunk and disorderly behaviour at a Bradford bar.

Callum Docherty, 24, of Worthing Head Road, Wyke, Bradford, faced three charges; drunk and disorderly in a public place and obstruct/resist a constable in the execution of their duty and failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time.

In the first charge, Docherty was sentenced for drunk and disorderly behaviour at Q Gardens, Stadium Mills, Stadium Road, Bradford, on June 11, 2022.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £22 victim surcharge for this charge.

The second offence, obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty, also took place at Q Gardens, Bradford, on June 11, 2022.

He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time. On August 10, 2022, Docherty failed, without reasonable cause to surrender to custody at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on June 11, 2022.

The 12-month conditional discharge handed to Docherty also covered all three offences he faced.

Docherty pleaded guilty to all three offences and he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 30, 2022.
