A 23-YEAR-old man has been jailed for attempted burglary after an incident in Bradford.
Ethan Marsden, 23, of Capel Street, Brighouse, appeared before Leeds Magistrates’ Court on September 6, and changed his plea to guilty.
Marsden admitted attempted burglary with intent to steal, having previously elected for a trial at magistrates’ court.
The incident took place on July 9, at Robin’s Court, Oakenshaw, where he attempted to enter as a trespasser a building there.
Magistrates jailed Marsden for a total of seven weeks, saying the offence was so serious because it was aggravated by the defendant’s record previous offending.
His guilty plea was also taken into account when imposing the sentence, with a 10 per cent discount.
There was no order for costs.
