A TEENAGE boy is to appear before Bradford Crown Court later this month charged with two serious offences.
The 17-year-old, who cannot be named due to his young age, appeared before West Yorkshire Youth Court, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court, on August 22.
He was charged with attempted robbery and the possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The offences are alleged to have happened in August last year.
In the first, the teenager is accused of trying to rob a female of an unknown value of money in Bradford.
In the second offence, he is accused of being in possession of a knife on Drewton Road, on the outskirts of Bradford city centre.
The teenager will appear before Bradford Crown Court on September 19.
