TWO large jets were used to put out a fire at a derelict church in the Holme Wood area of Bradford last night.
Four engines from the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 6.31pm on Saturday to the derelict church on Dane Hill Drive.
A spokesperson for the fire service said 40 per cent of the building was involved in fire.
Two engines from Bradford Fire Station and one each from Odsal and Stanningley were called to the scene.
Two large jets, two breathing apparatus and a high-powered fan to clear smoke were used to battle the blaze.
