TWO people were arrested after being caught carrying out a burglary in Shipley.

In the early hours of Friday morning, police officers attended a report of an ongoing burglary in Shipley.

Sergeant Mike Laycock, of the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "A 32-year-old and 51-year-old male were arrested nearby following an area search.

"They were subsequently charged with two residential burglaries and interference with a motor vehicle and remanded into custody pending their court date."
