BRADFORD Bulls have announced a partnership with Citizen Coin to offer rewards for volunteers across the Bradford District.

Citizen Coin aims to recognise and reward people for doing social good.

People can earn digital discount coins via a mobile app when undertaking social activities such as volunteering.

You can use the coins to get discounts on goods and services at participating retailers.

Bradford Bulls General Manager Tracey Erby said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Citizen Coin to offer rewards for those who undertake activities for the benefit of others.

“As a club, we rely heavily on volunteers and we appreciate the countless hours they have put in and know there are many more examples across Bradford of such great work.

“Volunteers can get access to discounted tickets for Bradford Bulls matches as our way of saying thank you for the selfless work put in.”

Kersten England, Bradford Council Chief Executive said: “Citizen Coin is a chance to say thank you to all the people who do so much good in our district and it is great to see the Bradford Bulls get involved.

“People who make that positive difference to others are rewarded through the Citizen Coin scheme.

It will hopefully encourage volunteering, support our local businesses and also offer rewards at this difficult time for residents.”

Cllr Abdul Jabar, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Neighbourhoods and Community Safety, said: “People across our district give up so much of their time to help others and volunteer to make the Bradford District a great place to live and work and this is one way which they can be rewarded.

“It is great that the Bradford Bulls are on board and I would also encourage local businesses to get involved.”
