A CAR was seized in the Bradford district yesterday for being untaxed.
The silver Volkswagen was taken by West Yorkshire Police's Steerside Enforcement Team on behalf of the DVLA.
The vehicle was stopped in Esholt by officers from Shipley.
It had found to be untaxed for 18 months.
The Steerside Enforcement Team is the force's dedicated initiative for tackling anti-social and dangerous driving.
Earlier this week the team seized a motorbike that had been used anti-socially in a park.
Officers from the unit had received reports of a motorbike being ridden round in an anti-social manner in Peel Park, Bradford.
They managed to seize the red motorbike under Section 59 powers.
Section 59 warnings are handed to drivers causing "alarm, distress or annoyance".
