Anyone looking to clear out unused junk in their house is encouraged to sign up for Pudsey’s first ever yard sale.

Taking place in the market town on September 24, it is hoped the free event will allow people to reduce landfill and help the community.

Potential ideas for stalls include clothing, furniture, appliances, toys, books, and items from garages or sheds.

The location will be revealed in the coming days on the official ‘Pudsey Yard Sale’ website.

To book a stall fill in the form via the website on pudseyyardsale.wordpress.com/

Selling alcohol, cigarettes, knives, weapons, fireworks or anything illegal is forbidden.

A spokesperson for Pudsey Yard Sale said: “Do have any junk in your garage or shed that you want to sell, but not fancied doing a car boot sale and didn’t want to get up so early on a Sunday.

“Why not join the first ever Pudsey Yard Sale on Saturday 24th Sept, it’s free to enter and all the money you raise is yours.

“Just fill in your details in the attached form and your details will be uploaded to the online map which buyers will use to visit your stall.”
