A BRADFORD man has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 for failing to comply with police.
Naseem Ahmed, 49, of Southdown Court, was found guilty of not complying with a police request at Harrogate Magistrates' Court on August 1 and then sentenced last Friday.
The offence was in relation to a request made in York by, or on behalf of, the Chief Officer of Police for North Yorkshire.
It was for information from Ahmed relating to the identification of the driver of a grey Volkswagen Golf, who was alleged to have committed an offence.
Ahmed was given six points on his driving licence and ordered to pay £1,346.
This included a £660 fine, a surcharge of £66 to fund victim services and costs of £620.
