A PERSON has been taken to hospital following a crash at Chain Bar this morning.
The incident created heavy traffic after a lane on the M62 was forced to shut.
Lane two, of two, on the exit slip road to the M62 West is where the closure has occurred.
The two-vehicle collision happened at 8.25am on the M606 Southbound at J1 M62 J26 (Chain Bar).
Traffic has been released after being held for ten minutes.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.25am to M606 to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
"One person has been taken to hospital."
The scene is now clear and the #M606 J1 southbound link road to the #M62 J26 westbound is now open.
