Police are investigating an assault which took place in broad daylight during Bank Holiday Monday.

West Yorkshire Police was called to an incident on St Margaret’s Place around 12.45pm on August 29.

No serious injuries have been reported following the incident, which took place just off Horton Grange Road in the Shearbridge area.

Paramedics from Yorkshire Ambulance Service treated someone at the scene.

Enquiries are ongoing today, a spokesperson for the force said.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
