A TEENAGER has been banned after being caught speeding at almost three times the limit on a major road in Bradford.
Mohammed Adil Khan, 19, of Pearl Street, Oldham, faced one charge of speeding – exceed 30mph on restricted road – manned equipment.
He drove a motor vehicle and was clocked at 81mph, exceeding the 30mph limit on Manchester Road, Bradford. The offence took place on September 17, 2021.
Khan was disqualified from holding, or obtaining a driving licence for six months.
He was also fined £660, ordered to pay £110 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £66 victim surcharge for the speeding charge. A collection order was made by the court.
Khan was sentenced in his absence at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 5, 2022.
