A BRADFORD district clothing company says it has had "no evidence to date" that customer data has been impacted by an intrusion into their online systems.
The website of Damart, based in Bowling Green Mills in Bingley, has been down now for over a week.
Damart is trying its best to fix the problems and says the website will be back up and running once it has been "thoroughly checked".
A spokesperson from the company said: "Damart, the mail order clothing brand, has confirmed that there was an attempt to intrude into its IT systems, which it was rapidly able to intercept with strong security protocols.
"As a precaution, Damart has temporarily restricted some services available to customers, including the website which is currently offline.
"Its IT teams are working diligently to get all services back up and running as soon as possible, but reassuringly there is no evidence to date that any customer data has been impacted in any way.
"Damart’s Contact Centre is currently working hard to answer customers’ calls and let them know what is happening. The website will be back up once all Damart’s systems have been thoroughly checked."
The Damart Shop, based on-site at Bowling Green Mills, is open as usual.
