A WOMAN who works for the company which runs the Telegraph & Argus has reached the national final of a model competition.

Linda Ralph has been selected to take part in the national final of the Classic Miss British Isles 2022 Model Competition after claiming the Classic Miss Northern title.

The national final takes place on Friday, September 9 at The Crown Plaza Hotel in Chester, where 30 finalists will battle it out.

Linda, a mother of two and grandmother of five, works within a digital media publishing business, Newsquest Media Group Limited and LocalIQ as a Human Resources Business Partner.

She looks after titles including Telegraph & Argus, Northern Echo and the York Press.

Linda has held a variety of posts during her 30-year career in Newsquest including commercial management roles in the advertising sales, along with marketing, digital and training roles.

Linda has won numerous awards during her career including national diversity and environmental awards, she has represented the business on several community project including the Community Cares programme.

Linda has been a champion of local causes, working with Community Groups such as QED in Bradford and on the Lord Mayor of Bradford Community Harmony Awards initiative as a judge.
