A DATE has been set for a Bradford police constable accused of attempted rape to appear at crown court.
Jonathan Holmes, 22, a West Yorkshire Police officer based in the Bradford district, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.
He faces three charges: attempted rape of a woman over 16, sexual assault on a female and perverting the course of justice.
The alleged offences are said to have happened on October 28 last year.
Holmes is accused of attempting to put his penis inside a woman's mouth without her consent and also sexually touching a woman without her consent.
It is also alleged the 22-year-old deleted the content of a mobile phone.
The court gave Holmes conditional bail until September 20 at Leeds Crown Court.
