A MAN has appeared in court for failing to provide a sample for a class A drugs test while he was detained at a police station.
Jordan Hardy, 31, of Falsgrave Avenue, Bradford, faced one charge of being a detainee/person charged and failed/refused to provide a sample for a class A drug test.
The offence was at Trafalgar House Police Station, Bradford, on July 8, 2022. He had not been charged for an offence at the time he failed, without good cause, to provide a non-intimate sample to officers, to ascertain whether he had a Class A drug in his body.
Hardy was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 2, 2022.
