MORE filming has been underway for an upcoming major ITV drama.

Amanda and Simon Meadows opened up their home - Skye House, on Larkfield Road, Rawdon – so scenes could be shot for medical thriller Malpractice.

Film crews were on site from last Wednesday to Friday after creating the set on Tuesday.

Amanda said around 85 crew and cast were at the house, which is currently on the market with Fine & Country Leeds. It’s set to feature significantly within the drama.

It was back in April when Amanda and Simon were approached to see if they were interested in their house featuring in the drama.

The property was then shortlisted and last week it was all systems go as scenes were shot. 

Filming for the drama has also taken place in Eccleshill village, Bradford city centre and Shipley.

Actress Niamh Algar, who recently starred in Channel 4 miniseries Deceit, was spotted filming scenes in Centenary Square.

The cat and mouse thriller will tell story of a damaged doctor, played by Algar, caught up in a dangerous conspiracy.

It's written by Grace Ofori-Attam, who worked as an NHS doctor for more than a decade.

She said: "Malpractice explores the inevitable pressure-cooker created when doctors under investigation are forced to second-guess their clinical decisions, justify their every action but carry on with the day job as normal."

She said it had been a "joy and privilege" creating the drama and added: "I can’t wait to see it on screen.”

Malpractice has been commissioned for ITV by Head of Drama, Polly Hill, who will oversee production from the channel’s perspective.
