DRAMA erupted at a Bradford festival in the city centre this evening as police detained a man.
Pictures show a man being wrestled to the ground by officers as crowds looked on in astonishment.
The incident occurred in City Park on day one of the BD: Festival at around 6.30pm.
The annual event, formerly known as the Bradford Festival, began today with performances ranging from aerial acrobats to giant sea creatures wandering the streets.
West Yorkshire Police has been approached for a comment.
