Brighouse Art Circle is set to dive into Autumn colours and fungi during its next workshop.

Membership has opened for the new season, offering artists the chance to explore new themes and subjects every Thursday.

Painters, sketchers, illustrators and any creative in between can expect demonstrations, workshops, life models, costume models and exhibitions.

In Summer, the art circle also offers weekly painting en plein air sessions.

The next Autumnal-themed workshop will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday, August 25.

Meanwhile the annual open evening will bring an exhibition, tombola and supper to the group’s base at Waring Green Community Centre.

A spokesperson for the group said: “If you enjoy painting at home, not painted for a long time or never painted but would like to join a friendly group of like-minded people why not just turn up or for more details visit brighouseartcircle.co.uk or ring Duncan on 07866 606439?”
