THOSE in need of sanitary products are being urged to ‘ask for Molly’.

Ashcroft Surgery, on Newlands Way in Eccleshill, is providing packages.

A spokesperson said: “Ask for Molly! Please don’t feel shy.

“If you are in need of sanitary products, call in at Ashcroft Surgery (BD10) and ask for ‘a package that MOLLY has left for me’.

“You will be given a package with what you need – no questions asked.”

The issue of period poverty is one that has become increasingly prevalent in recent years and is likely to be heightened by the cost of living crisis.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that almost every secondary school in Bradford had signed up to take part in a scheme to provide free period products.
