BRADFORDIANS have the opportunity to get their hands on a signed pair of gloves from a world-famous former MMA fighter after a local charity put them up for auction.

The Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA), based on Little Horton Lane, is auctioning Khabib Nurmagomedov’s signed gloves in a bid to raise money for cancer patients in Pakistan, where medical standards differ and there is no national health service.

People have until midnight on Friday to bid for the gloves.

“Khabib’s gloves have kindly been donated to the charity, and all proceeds will go to our two hospitals in Lahore and Peshawar, where 75 per cent of our cancer patients receive free treatment,” said Ikhlaq Ahmad, Manager at IKCA.

“By bidding, you not only have the chance to get signed gloves from an international, well-renowned athlete, but you’re also helping cancer patients who rely on our donations at the same time.

“To place your bid, you just have to call 07961 000131.

“I’d like to wish all the best to everyone who wants to bid, and a massive thank you to all of our donors.”
