A MAN has appeared in court for possession of cocaine in Bradford.
Nikkie Newby, 32, of Thornton Road, Bradford, faced one charge of possession of a controlled drug of class A – other.
Newby was found in possession of a bag of cocaine, a controlled drug of class A in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
The offence took place at Bridge Street, Bradford, on July 11, 2022.
He was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £34 victim surcharge for the offence.
The bag of cocaine is to be forfeited and destroyed.
Newby pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 10, 2022.
