A MAN must not drink any alcohol for almost 100 days after breaching a restraining order and having Class A drugs in his possession.
Dean Taylor, of Pellon Lane in Halifax, committed both offences in Keighley on July 29.
The 41-year-old harassed a woman by visiting her address while under a restraining order, issued back in January.
The crime was contrary to section 363(1) and (2) of the Sentencing Act 2020.
While at the property, Taylor also had a quantity of heroin in his possession.
This is in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
The drugs were forfeited and destroyed under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
He was issued with a community order which says he must abstain from consuming any alcohol for 90 days.
Taylor's case was heard at Bradford And Keighley Magistrates' Court on Monday, August 1.
