A MAN has been ordered to pay more than £200 for assaulting another person near a retail park.
Wayne Spence, 40, of Duckworth Lane, Bradford, pleaded guilty to assault by beating at Kirklees Magistrates' Court on August 4.
He had previously pleaded not guilty at the same court on April 7.
Spence assaulted a man named Jonathan Hallow on August 10 last year in Snowden Street, near Bradford Forster Square Retail Park.
The 40-year-old was handed a community order by the court and must complete up to 15 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days.
He was also ordered to pay £295.
This includes, a £95 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £200.
The total must be paid by August 18 and will be deducted from Spence's benefits.
