THE next court date has been set for a man accused of attempted murder.
Mohammed Ali, 57, of Amberley Court, Barkerend, appeared before Bradford Magistrates’ Court last Saturday morning (August 13).
He was charged in relation to an alleged incident on Cornwall Road, Bradford, on August 11 in which a woman received stab injuries.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said her injuries were non-life threatening.
An extensive police cordon was in place at the scene, close to the road’s junction with Manningham Lane, while police enquiries got underway.
They were scrambled to the scene at 8.45am and police were stationed on the residential road for much of the day, with tape blocking the road off.
Ali will appear before Bradford Crown Court on the morning of September 12.
