A MAN was handed a conditional discharge for drunk and disorderly behaviour in Bradford city centre.

David McMenamin, 37, of Grattan Road, Bradford, faced one charge of drunk and disorderly behaviour in a public place.

He was found guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour in Centenary Square, Bradford city centre. The offence took place on July 11, 2022. This charge was contrary to section 91 (1) of the Criminal Justice Act 1967.

McMenamin did not attend the hearing so it was proved in his absence.

He was handed a six-month conditional discharge for the offence. But no order for either costs or a surcharge was imposed in this case by the court.

McMenamin was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on August 10, 2022.
