POLICE are investigating following early-hours fires in a town centre.
The fires, in the High Street and Market Street areas, of Heckmondwike, were reported between 1am and 2.20am today (Friday), said a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson.
They are now urging anyone with any information to get in touch.
The full statement from the force said: "Police are investigating following fires in the High Street and Market Street areas of Heckmondwike, which were reported between 1am and 2.20am.
"Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in these areas at around the time stated is asked to contact Kirklees District CID on 101 or by using the LiveChat on the West Yorkshire Police website.
"Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 55111 or online."
