POLICE say a disqualified driver was putting pedestrians and road users at risk when he rode a quad bike on a footpath in Bradford.
Officers on patrol in Buttershaw sighted the quad being ridden by the man on Wibsey Park Avenue at 5pm on Monday afternoon.
The quad was seized by officers and the rider will be summonsed to court for his actions.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Police - Bradford South said: "The rider of the quad bike had only last month been disqualified from driving and is today putting pedestrians and road users at risk.
"No matter how short a journey this type of vehicle is not road legal and should not be ridden on the road or on a footpath.
"Such actions pose a significant risk to pedestrians and will not be tolerated despite any such claims about how short the journey has been."
