A POLICE chase resulted in a dangerous driver escaping and abandoning a vehicle in the Bradford South area of the city.
The red Ford Focus was spotted driving on Woodside Road in Wyke with no front plate at around 8am on Monday.
As West Yorkshire Police officers tried to stop the driver to have a chat, the individual made off and a pursuit commenced.
The Focus was then seen driving dangerously meaning it was lost on Cleckheaton Road.
The car was soon found abandoned.
It was found to be on a false plate, on the rear, with no keeper and no insurance.
A West Yorkshire Police - Bradford South spokesperson said: "Sadly, no prisoner on this occasion but a cloned vehicle off the roads."
