A MAN has been banned from driving after being caught speeding on a major Bradford district road.
Rhys Perry, 22, of Acres Hall Avenue, Pudsey, appeared in court on one charge of exceeding a 50mph speed limit in contravention of a local traffic order – manned equipment.
He was caught driving a motor vehicle on Sir Fred Hoyle Way/Bingley Bypass, Bingley, at a speed exceeding 50mph – at 76mph. The offence took place on September 16, 2021.
Perry was disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for six months. He was also fined £500, ordered to pay £110 costs and a £50 victim surcharge for the offence.
Perry pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 12, 2022.
